For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation, the data controller is EB Equine. EB Equine is committed to the privacy and security of all individuals personal data which we hold.

The policy also describes your choices regarding use, as well as your rights under the GDPR.

Insurance details may also be collected in order to allow us to provide the requested service to you.

The personal data may be used for instances which include sending statements and invoices to you, sending notifications which you have requested, sending you information about any changes in our internal policies, and sending you any marketing communications.

We will retain your personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship which we have entered into, and we will only continue to store your personal data after the contractual relationship has ended insofar as it is necessary for its lawful purpose. Personal data is periodically reviewed and if it is no longer needed it will be deleted or anonymised as appropriate.

  • The right of access – you have a right to request a copy of the information that we hold in your regard.

  • The right to erasure – also known as the right to be forgotten. In certain cases you may ask for the data we hold of you to be erased from our records however this is not an absolute right. The reasons why you may request that your personal data be removed include instances where the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was originally collected, your withdrew consent, there is no overriding legitimate interest which would allow the processing of the data, the data was unlawfully processed, and if the data has to be erased due to a legal obligation.

  • The right to restrict processing – where certain conditions apply you have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data. The circumstances in which you have the right to restrict the processing include if you contest the accuracy of the data held, if the data has been unlawfully processed, and if you require us to hold the data in order to establish, order, or defend a legal claim.
